Alright, I'm late to the party, but here goes.
I've recently borrowed my friends copy of the game and lo and behold, it's been eating more time than I realized.
Camera's buggy and the dialogue is laughable, but there's something about it that's catchy. It probably has to do with the almost natural item gaining and accomplishment system.
Played through the first chapter with every character and I liked the fact that the stories were connected with each character.
Speaking of characters, some of them are a total wash. The ones that were most annoying to play had to be the Onion Knight(FFIII) and the Warrior of Light(FFI). Firion(FFII) wasn't very good either...
Combat is pretty fast paced with wall runs, grinds, and flashy, explosive combos flying left and right. The camera can be an issue at times, but not so much that it hinders the game much.
