    Insalubrious necrotic decay
While biking along the road one day
I came across a rotting deer
Six empty shells and a bottle of beer
In spite of the sickness it seemed to portray
I could not help but draw near.

Dead like the Sixties, a Zen Disaster
A sign that intelligence was dying faster
The gruesome scene, in all its splendor
    Signified man, the main offender
A slow suicide, the supposed master
    Human nature, a fender bender.

Listening to the radio one night
A race car driver and his infernal plight
His name was Jerry, he was in the E.R.
Around a telephone pole was wrapped his car
Primus references are not humorous in the slight
Especially when, by me, they are marred.

The method of extinction, crystal clear
    Napalms, death, paranoia and fear
Fire rained down from the sky
As we waited in out bunkers to die
Listening to the bombs, we could no longer hear
Self destruction, and our silent cry.

Basically, name checks of bands that I love written into prose. Also, a statement on how mankind is eventually going to destroy itself because our society is become increasingly idiotic or something like that.
