Halo: Cryptum

Halo: Cryptum is the first in a trilogy of books written by Greg Bear focusing on the Forerunner species during the peak of their existence. There is surprisingly little action for a book based on the Halo series, and the writing and plot are decidedly less military sci-fi in style. I've only read the first few chapters and intend to post more when I read more.

Nothing to say on the topic, But your thread makes me think we should add a second literary section to the symposium. One for items that have demonstrable and clearly accepted literary merit, and one for things of a more ephemeral/transient nature... Or even for things that are recent.
